historic scans

when i get the opportunity, i like to scan historical pieces/books that i get my hands on in order to make them more widely available to other researchers and historians. most of these center on queer and specifically trans issues. i got started by scanning the third edition of Information for the Female to Male Cross Dresser and Transsexual by Lou Sullivan; to my knowledge, this is the only digitally-available copy of this text.

these aren't meant to be true digital surrogates, as the scan quality isn't high-res enough, but at least the content is out there. as i have the time, energy, and resources (i.e. actual stuff to scan), i'll add more to this page.

i also try and scan materials that have little to no online info/presence, regardless of my personal taste/preferences. if i can't find a digital copy available, i'll take the time to make it so for others.

links are organized by type of material first, then by age of the item from oldest to newest. i'll try and update this page at the same time as when i add uploads to my archive account, but the reality is i'm forgetful. so here's a link to that account for you to peruse.
